Global Domains International – Still Among the Best Affiliate Programs

I started with GDI (Global Domains International) way back in 1994. It was one of the first affiliate programs I worked with and one of the few I still use to this day. What is the attraction to this top affiliate program and how does it continue to grow after all this time?
It helps that the GDI business opportunity promotes a product that has some built-in authenticity. Not just anyone can start a registered domain company and there are regulatory bodies that help to control who does. The DOT WS (.ws) domain extension has become a recognized option with many popular domain registrars which is another tribute to the success of this Inc. 500 company.
Personally, I like the fact that the Global Domains International business opportunity carries only a $10 USD monthly product commitment. Even without the opportunity to earn commissions from home, the $10 fee pays for your hosted domain with most of the basics you come to expect from a website hosting company.
Compared to many other affiliate programs I’ve tried, it is relatively quite easy to at least break even on the $10 monthly charge. A combination of 10 people on your team (downline in MLM terms) whether sponsored by you, placed or spilled over from team members above you or recruited by members below you in the team matrix – that is all it takes to earn your $10 back each month. Most people should be able to achieve at least that much in 3-6 months of membership with GDI – thats only $30-60 total investment in that time whereas many affiliate programs have a monthly fee as large.
Global Domains International continues to grow and in my opinion continues to be a “must have” in any affiliate marketing porfolio whether promoted full or part time. Finding top affiliate programs that pay for themselves fairly quickly and have a long standing reputation is not as easy as one would think.
If there is a draw back to GDI it is the payment information required up front when starting the 7 day free trial. Some people will see that as a gimmick but in reality Global Domains International needs to protect the legitimate product and service being offered. I understand that some potential affiliates will be turned away because they either do not have an accepted payment option or because they have been burned on “free trials” before. The important thing is to remember to cancel before the trial is done to avoid the first payment should you not with to participate. But even if you forget to cancel, I’d consider $10 an acceptable risk with a well established company like Global Domains International.

Global Domains International (GDI) is a domain registration hosting service that uses the extension “.WS”, which is literally a short cut of “Website”. GDI has been around for quite a while. The company has been around since 2000. The .ws extension was formerly assigned to Western Samoa. GDI bought this extension, branded it, and made it an alternative to .com. They made a pack with the Samoan King and he allowed the company to do some testing if the idea would sell. After a few months, the company was able to sell hundreds of domains using this extension. Since then, Western Samoa finally gave the rights of the domain to GDI. The company gives a residual compensation worth $1 per month per person you signed up for them. Then, if the person you recruited has convinced another individual to sign up for GDI, you will receive another dollar. So if you have convinced 5 people into signing up for GDI, you will be paid $5. And if each of those 5 people has recruited 1 person, you will receive another $5. You will also receive a dollar for every person recruited in the second layer. It goes on and on until you have reached level 5.
The way to earn big with GDI is through their bonuses. If you are able to sign up 5 paid affiliates within 7 days, you would receive $100 a week. So if you could sign up at least 25 paid affiliates, you have the chance to receive $500 a week.
It is like hitting two birds with one stone. GDI provides a stable hosting service to all entrepreneurs new to e-commerce. And, it also gives an effortless way to earn extra profit.

I enjoyed your article on the GDI opportunity. I have been involved with GDI for over 3 1/2 years and might add doing extremely well with it
This company has the potential to be a long-term winner in the MLM industry, but my experience has proved again and again that unless a person knows how to market themselves and their opportunity, they don’t have much of a chance. People that have been hugely successful in other industries fail miserably in network marketing because they couldn’t market themselves and had no idea how to build a business.
These are the most important skills for long term success with Global Domains International (GDI) or any other MLM company. If you follow this formula and seek to consistently grow and accumulate knowledge on how to market your opportunity like a true professional, you will have a substantial advantage over almost every other Global Domains International (GDI) distributor and be able to build a lasting business.
